Complete Streets: Designed with everyone in mind!

Overview

Complete streets are pedestrian, transit, and bicycle – friendly streets that provide safe and easy access for users of all ages and abilities, regardless of their mode of transportation. It is an approach to planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the roadway network that considers the surrounding land use context and travel patterns in order to balance the needs of all users.  To learn more about Complete Streets, please visit our Complete Streets resource page or the National Complete Streets Coalition website.
